To be fair she was gonna ship them both off to an abroad boarding school. It's not like she wanted a relationship with the one daughter she already knew of, which is a red flag.
She wasn’t forced to do anything. She was living in a guilded cage and wanted his money more than she wanted him or for him to be happy. So really if you want to picture it- it should be described as: “imagine you have to go on a camping trip with the guy who’s money you’re after in order to keep your place, and then....” but yeah. Most people would be angry- especially when the scam fell apart. Of course- that whole family is a train wreck. They had to go one the trip because the girls refused to reveal their identities if they didn’t (imagine being a parent who can’t tell 11 year old twins apart? Yeah- with twins you can mix them up in a moment, but as a parent of older twins you should have a good idea who your child is as a person...) the fact they didn’t tell either twin they had a sibling at all! At all. I mean- they were all very dosfunctional human beings so questioning the gold diggers actions over questions like how those children could ever trust their parents again, or...
why anyone would act like really any of them did- it’s kinda moot. It’s like wondering why Jerry, a mouse, can lift a giant hammer- it’s sorta a cant see the forest through the trees deal isn’t it?
Survival of the fittest,
Also she was stupid enough to test a father's love so whatever comes her way I'm going to chaulk it up to she probably deserved it.
