I mean, it kinda was a major mistake. When the USA joined the war, the war was done. They were a superpower with fresh troops, fresh supplies, and were so far away that it would have taken too much firepower to attack. When Japan attacked the US, it was the biggest mistake they could have made.
We didn’t enter the war because Japan attacked us. Japan attacked us because were joining the war. The Pacific fleet was preparing for invasion of Japan’s territories which is why they were at Pearl Harbor. Japan’s choice to try to nail them all before they could get started was actually a very good tactic.
Not completely. We weren't preparing for the war at pearl harbor. It was just a very valuable docking area to defend the ships that are transporting goods. It wasn't until after the attack did Roosevelt kinda asked congress officially enter the way.
I know this is totally inappropriate and stupid of me but thay first reply reminded me of mean girls. "I don't hate you cause your fat. Your fat brcause I hate you"
"Sure you did Wong, that's why your left blinker was on the whole time."
