But truth was she sat on that bus on purpose just to protest.
She didn't even mean to get arrested. It was mainly due to the driver who already hated her after she once refused to pay at the front exit the bus and reenter the other door. So the bus driver threw her off the bus.
The fact she gotten on the bus that day made him angry but when she refused to get up it made him instantly seek a cop to arrest her.
She admitted if she was paying more attention she would of realized who the driver was and would of never gotten on.
9 months before Parks was jailied a 15 year old girl named Claudette Colvin was arrested for refusing to give up her seat. Rosa Parks heard of her story and said she was going to to use her story to launch a war on the segregation laws on buses.
That day 3 other women were arrested as well.
