My mom used to say reading in the dark ruined your eyes

It's not reading in the dark that ruins your eyes, it is constantly looking at something close by without taking a break to rest your eyes and look far, which then strains your muscles, and causes you to go blinder.

Booklover? Yes. But I never grew up in cars, was travel sick in buses so I never enjoyed travelling.

The struggle was real, I would NOT put down the book and had to read 3 lines, dark, 3 lines. But red traffic lights were a blessing.
