I hate how as kids making friends is like the world's easiest thing to do. But once you are in our 20s it's like life is saying well if you don't have any friends by now than you will forever have no friends. O and P.s. work friends don't count.
I had the exact opposite experience. In my 20’s on I found it much easier to make friends than ever before. The problem I’ve found in being older is as this meme says: you may have friends but you hardly see them. Perhaps a lunch or a dinner here or there- but not like when you were younger and people would just spontaneously get together and hang out. There is almost always a purpose if you do manage to hang out with anyone, and it usually takes huge planning to get even 2 people together, but anything more than 3 people’s schedules lining up is a miracle!
Pft...I’ve been having to schedule friends into my calendar at least a month prior to hanging out since I was 20. Like right now, it’s december and the rest of this month, January and half of February is already books. May is booked for the most part, as is March. If any one wants me I’m starting to direct them to April. I hate my busy schedule. Save me.
Plan ahead! I got shit to do
