not when you still get the other questions correct that use the same thing to answer it. Or when its a date and everyone put the wrong date by 2 years and 5 days and it's right in the only material they were allowed to use to answer the question.

Students at the school I teach at tried doing this. Everyone was getting 100% on the homework, but massively failing the tests because they didn’t know how to do the work because they hadn’t done the practice themselves.
