Rawhide bones are awful for dogs- please don’t give them one!!

Choking or blockages. If your dog swallows large pieces of rawhide, the rawhide can get stuck in the esophagus or other parts of the digestive tract. Sometimes, abdominal surgery is needed to remove them from the stomach or intestines. If it isn’t resolved, a blockage can lead to death.

No offense but that’s just a hazard in general. Anything can choke a dog and nearly anything made for dogs has chemicals and other substances not ment for human consumption.

My sister bought her pups elk (I think it was elk, maybe deer) antlers, they last forever and the dogs love them, plus no garbage in them.
