It should, and I got no beef with the LGBTQ community, but this stuff shouldn't be allowed. Like kids shouldn't be thinking about this. This is the equivalent of brainwashing.

There’s nothing wrong with say, cutting/growing out your hair and picking a different name. It’s easily reversible. The parent might not even be trans, just here supporting their kid. I don’t see anything wrong with this. It’s borderline child abuse to not let your kid express themselves, especially since if this kid is actually transgender, dysphoria could be crazy stressful.

Silvermyth I agree. If the kid is happy to wear this plus grow out their hair, who is it harming? I have an opinionated 4 year old and there is no way I could get him to wear this. Kids do have a say.

Despite the downvotes, I agree with you 2. Not much harm in letting their kid express themselves, so long as it's how the kid wants to, not the parent. Would be nice if the people downvoting would give a reason though.

I agree with letting kids be themselves, but there are still parents out there that are mentally abusive because they want their kid to be different

Yeah, forcing them to be different is just as harmful as preventing them from expressing themselves.

i think if a child wants to be referred as something other than what they were born as, thats cool. if they change their mind when they get older, also cool. but a child shouldnt be put on hormones.

It’s illegal for a child this age to be put on hormones, so don’t worry.
