Sounds like a life one can be content with. For the witch part: even better - now at least the little balls of cancer won't rip up your plants. Just threaten to turn them into toads, or that you will make their hair fall out.

You run with some tough kids. I can’t say I’ve known many children who would immolate person and property intentionally.

Convince them you are a good witch. Make them "potions" for things like confidence, then use that as an excuse to make them drink vegetables.

That makes ZERO difference. It doesn't matter where you are, ignorance and fear can and has caused MANY tragedies, even in our enlightened times.

Maybe, but in today's world people don't fear witches. The kids would have to think you were Muslim to have a chance of getting people worked up enough to burb down your house with you inside.

You have obviously never lived in small towns especially in the South. There are still plenty of people who will fear a "witch".

I live in a very small town in the Deep South. Our largest building is the church and the town’s run by the church, but still these ppl are so useless you’d never get them to riot
