I just figured out something about texture none of my artbooks could ever teach me. NOICE.

I wanna lick it

I always wanted to slowly run my fingers over this painting. To feel each bump and brush stroke. It is my favorite painting. It always spoke to me. It felt like I could fall into it if I could just leave my body behind I could just float into it's swirling sky.
I know that it is a well known and very cliche painting to like. But it always made me so calm, happy, and not feel so alone. Which I know probably wasn't what he was going through emotional when he made it.
Anyway thank you for posting this I truely love it. I am going to save it so I can look at it when ever I want.
