I've seen this before, but it really makes me smile every time.
I can definitely see this guy becoming the squad/platoon mascot.

I'd say he's probably a Marine.
When addressing members of the military, mixing up the branches is insulting... espeicially from someone who could/should know better.

Kiddo wouldn't know, therefore it's not an insult.

Not trying to be a dick, but thats a big thing to put in the pocket or bag. Better put something more useful for the patrol.
