I was sitting in the sled with my camera while my wife was driving. We took turns. This was in the Pudasjärvi region, just below the polar circle. It was about -25C at that time. The next day it was -32C.

Do the sled drivers really yell "Mush" or is that something that has been popularized by entertainment?

The Finns shout the word "SEIS", and then the dogs know you will be braking, and will at least stop pulling.
