the reason why he said "i dont know" is because, no offense he doesn't find you attractive. I usually lie and say that i am talking to another girl but yeah in most cases he doesn't like you like that because if he finds you a little attractive he would say yes.
so much can be said on the subject of being friendzoned by different perspectives, the way i see it, a guy will see his crush, going with jerks that treat them poorly, but will still support them. A girl, will see her crush, happy with a girl, but will still bitch about her and think that she's better, for no other reason then she has a crush. but i'm a guy, this argument will never have a winning side.

I'm a guy and I've been friendzoned for a year now and we've kissed and things of that nature but she still won't go out with me but I'm not bitching to anyone of my friends cause they are all in it too!
