That doesn’t actually make sense of you think about it. You don’t have to be a genius intellect to paint or sing or perform incredible feats. Should we disregard art unless the artist passes a test of intelligence? I think what they meant was: “Stop making people famous just for being stupid.” There is some sort of irony in a person trying to spread a message to the masses about revering, following, or valuing the unintelligent- and phrasing it poorly. Perhaps that was intended- and it is itself more an art piece. Who knows. Either way- the phrasing is incorrect for the assumed or any reasonably defensible position.

I think that was their intent too. But it does go to show us that it’s all sort of relative.
