Banks close so early

Ok but they close early because of safety since robbers often come around six when you close up, if you close before the others there are enough people around /shops open / security to make it more difficult. It may also coincide with shift changes at police stations if you close later, making them less available/take longer to respond.

Before computers, banks used to open at 10am and close at 3pm because of the huge amount of paperwork that was done by hand.

My bank is open until 8 PM some nights and some branches are open on sundays.
