I’m looking after our neighbour’s dog, and while she gets along with my dog, walks become super hectic. My dog hates it when she walks in front of him, so the second she steps out of line, he starts running to make sure they are walking exactly side by side. If she falls behind to smell the flowers, he will sniff the flowers too (even if he’s already sniffed them) to make sure they’re still twinning.
Up until my 16 year old Siamese started going blind we had to keep him segregated from our pitbull...for the pitbull's sake. This scrawny, geriatric cat would go out of his way to attack the dog at every chance, to the point of launching onto her hind/back and digging in so bad his claws actually broke off in her hide and we had to pull them out. Meanwhile she (the oh do vicious pit) try to run and hide, preferably behind one of us, if he escaped to come after her. She won't even defend herself. The closest she has come was jumping on all fours trying to evade him and inadvertently landing on him.
My father has had a cat for forever now and he just got a little bunny and the bunny is super curious and intrigued by the cat and always wants to go investigate, but the cat wants nothing to do with the bunny and will jump over the bunny barriers just to get away...
