I've seen stuff like this. One of the worst was a restaurant's kitchen computer. They frantically called me in to fix it one evening. I got there and opened the case and there, through thick layers of black grease and filth, was a big, electrocuted rat dangling out of the power supply. I did not eat at that restaurant again.
He probably can. If there‘s a dead rat attached to a computer for god knows how long(and they didn‘t even bother throwing it out), there‘s a very high possibility that there are a lot more in the Kitchen(where there‘s a surplus of food for them). It‘s almost like walking into a kitchen with a dead roach on the oven or counter. Rats breed very quickly, so in most cases, when there‘s 1, there are more.
