I think either would be good, as long as you get sweet blackberries. If they are tart even a little, it won't balance the flavor and the dessert will be overwhelmingly tart and you won't get the full array of flavors

That looks like very little crust at all, which I'm good with because I find too much crust overwhelms the delicious creaminess of cheesecake

Yah, it just has the bottom crust. Why can't all cheesecake standards be like this!?
