For the mistake of the parents not vaccinating their child, yes that is worth the cost.

i don't disagree for this instance, they brought this on themselves, having weighed the risks to vaccinate or not, they chose not to, though they believe it was for the best, it was also costly. I'm sure they will make up an excuse for not paying it.
