$75,000 was probably the union minimum for a role of that size.

Fact check: Yes he agreed to only take $75K, but it wasn't "to leave something wonderful behind..." He worked out an advertising deal so that his other film (Toys) wouldn't be overcast by Aladdin's success. Then he took his regular fee for the squeal.
