My 2 yrs younger than me brother was the silent kid. He is super shy. Problem is he is a closet class clown. Lmao
Picture a kid 17 yrs old, 6ft, 280 pounds, with greasy jet black long hair to his shoulders, he has solid black jeans and shirt, smells slightly of greasy chicken but you know he hadn't had any, dark brown eyes, bushy eyebrows, and carries every single thing a normal person has in their locker IN his back back like a pack mule.
He never laughs, chats, or anything. He isn't unfriendly but doesn't go out of his way to be friendly.
Now one day a kid was told to sit by my brother in the back of the class because he was making alot of jokes and cutting up in class.
The guy sees my brother doesn't say a thing and works on class work. Than sees my brother slide a note to him on his desk. The guy picks it up and it said:
You are funny we are friends now.
So you love me check yes or no.
The guy looks at my brother and my brother whispers turn it over.
Continued...
On back the note says:
If you say no it means you REALLY REALLY love me xoxo
The guy nearly pissed himself laughing.
And from that day forward him and that guy was best buddies as in everytime they see each other they say HAY BUDDY! and as they left they say LOVE YAH MAN!
So moral of the story...
Sometimes the quiet kids are the best kids lol.
I once went through an entire college "English language" class without speaking until the last day. I'd chuckle and smirk at stuff, but I didn't talk.
When I took second year french I got kicked out of class 6 times because I wouldn't shut up. We'd start a lesson describing what we did in french (I slept through french 1 ( btw, it was 2nd period and I had basketball practice before, so I was waking up at 3:30-4AM)... but then it would just devolve into story telling amongst the class. We all be came good friends... but... most of us didn't learn french... such is...
la vie.
I've been both, what I've noticed it has more to do with if I can connect with the people around me.
