cant own celestial objects, the US is part of an agreement that says so and anyone that's a citizen of any of the countries that signed are beholden to said agreement
the treaty specifically says that the governments are responsible for anything its citizen do regarding space and in the treaty its specifically stated that any anything done in it can only be used for the benefit of humanity as a whole. Owning things in space as a private citizen isn't a right nor something you can actively do, its a legal grey area that hasn't been specifically ruled on in any court except for the US which specifically stated that no American citizens can make territory claims in space as per this bill.

and precedent of other laws and agreements show that in the case that such a situation was ruled upon by a court it would be shown to be not an option for anyone to own stuff in space.
anything that tells you that you can buy land on the moon is a scam
basically what that says is that you can buy pieces of paper that say you own land on the moon with no actual anything that actually allow you to own land on the moon. So my statement of "its a scam" is still true.
its a scam in that they are selling things they know are totally worthless without informing the customer that its totally worthless in fact telling them its something it is not.
the legal logistics dont matter in america either. Note the bill i posted a link to. It specifically says americans and american companies cannot own territory in space.
That treaty is worthless once economic interest comes into play. Where the fuck would SpaceX land a capsule if they can't claim the landing ground? What treaty would stop a foreign government from purposefully crashing a craft and scattering debris over their entire landing site? They, technically, didn't claim anything.
And I never specified american companies, I just used one as an example. I doubt this issue is brought up before the Ethopian government before it is the US, Chinese, or Russian gov't.
Long day that started with Endgame, can we, perhaps, pick this up in 12-14 hours? I'm tired.

We're both right.
It's not a scam, yet. Technically.
