Why are you starting a debate with an insult? What nuance are you talking about? The context is money. Treasure planet made less money than lion king; so statistically, it’s remake is more likely to do the same a second time.
tl;dr - which remake would you bet your life savings on?
ps - I love Stumpy(treasure planet,Atlantis,Titan A.E,...). He has a heart of gold.
@nelson but think about this: they could take the disney movies that didnt do very well (sword in the stone, black cauldron, etc), and make them better than they were before
Sword and the Stone actually has potential rebotability. Its biggest problem was that the kid has no personality whatsoever. That's the kind of thing you can fix in a rebot without really pissing everyone off.
My problem with it is that it bored me to tears. There was barely any music (I'm not talking songs, I'm talking background music), Arthur is bland, the stuff that he and Merlin do is boring, and everything just seems to move very slowly compared to other Disney movies of the time like Jungle Book. I 100% believe though that a live action remake of it would be pretty damn great
