Spiders arent the problem, its the occasional snake that you get wilded about and take photos with or the magpies that rain hell on you while u try and avoid being seen by people in their cars who laugh at you
Yeah it is better but usually it is warmer days so people hate having to carry around umbrellas. Also they swoop through them sometimes, normally you run or wear a hat with googly eyes. (They are scared of hats with googly eyes)
Yea most of us in country side wouldn't be seen with umbrellas, best defence is grab a small stick leaves on the end and start swinging to scare them off
This is misleading and dangerous.
Teaching kids that spiders like this have the faintest chance of being taken down by a sword will give kids bad habits that will lead to someone getting hurt or dying. Preparing kids to get into situations like this will give them a false conception of their ability to get anywhere near this close before the spider has a chance to say g'day. This is a waste of education that will foolishly embolden kids when they should instead be attending the government funded Heavy Ordinance, Incineration, and Artillery(tm) classes at their local community center or library.
Could you just walk around with an umbrella?
:P
