Strange

Spoilers are a complex thing. For one thing, online in 2019 we have to remember that release dates vary globally and some countries didn’t get a release until the very end of April, and some smaller countries might not have distribution. We also have to remember people have lives and may legitimately have not had the time or money to see the film yet. Of course, at some point it’s just ridiculous and if you haven’t seen it yet that’s on you. What that point is however is tricky. One factor I like to consider is the anticipation and build. For instance- the Simpsons airs weekend and most episodes do not have direct continuity. So if you haven’t seen the last one by the time the next one is set to air... however a massive movie with over 10 years of build up.... that’s slightly more deserving of a longer grace period in my mind.

* although in fairness that isn’t really a spoiler. Firstly one can’t tell for sure if it’s genuine, and secondly who is “everybody?” One has to assume that SOMEONE is going to die in “endgame,” and if you haven’t seen it you don’t know if they’re talking about the “snap,” people left after “the snap,” the avengers- or what. So this doesn’t give you much to go on. But I do understand some people like to go in to a movie “blank.”

I haven't seen the movie yet because I simply cannot afford to. But, that being said, I'm also aware that its insane to expect the entire internet to hide spoilers, especially on this sight where most of the posts are bots that can't hide posts.
