Teacher adopts a high risk child, that needs an organ transplant, in order to save him

From my understanding, he was living in the hospital because his foster families kept falling through so there was no one to take care of his medical needs. Still shitty, but this means that, by fostering him, this teacher has ensured that he’ll get on the transplant list AND that he won’t have to live in hospitals for months or years at a time. Very cool.

I don't deny this is cool and the teacher is a hero. Nevertheless this is shitty. This shouldn't be happening at all. Hope he gets his health back. What does he need?
