Maybe a bit off topic. But when Americans (which I just assume you are, correct me if I’m wrong) say diploma - does it mean a HS diploma? Og higher education?

Ah, maybe someone else can answer? But how do you use «diploma», as if you’ve finished uni or A-levels/secondary school/sixth form? The last of which I’ve never really understood the difference
