I'm not really a gun person but I can appreciate handguns and single-shot rifles because it's a lot harder to do a school shooting with. But you can still feel like a badass and shoot targets.
Imagine the year 3,000. A lone gunman flies his shuttle to the kiddy planet an lasers a few before being lasered buy space-force. The galactic President tears out one of his tentacles in a show of support, before getting into space-force 1 to go have lunchdinner with the spaceNRA lobbyists.

I think a person has a right to defend themselves , their property, family and their rights by any means necessary. The school shooting thing is fucking crazy. The real question is why and how to stop it, not what tool they used. Hell , a hammer or sword , axe, machete , knife, could kill a lot of people before the mentally ill killer is brought down.
Or, you lot just try to have it both ways because you are making an emotional argument about a symbol rather than a logical argument. I've been a fun owner and Hunter my whole life, ammosexuals are creepy. Either assault weapons make killing easier, or they don't.

There are 2 models of a Mini-14, a .223 carbine designed in the likeness of the M14. One has wood furniture (stock and such) while the other has synthetic black furniture. The latter is banned in California while the former isn't, despite there being no difference between the two rifles other than the material their furniture is made of. It's pretty much banned only for looking scary.
The first guest is misunderstanding what I said. I dont care if during a home invasion , the home owner tosses a few grenades down his/her hallway or toast them with a flamethrower . As far as bans on guns or ammo , let me clearly say fuck that. It does no good keeping weapons from law abiding citizens. Second guest, ammosexuals lol
