Hawkeye is a special forces skilled shooter he didn't need and probably wouldn't of took a super suit.

Because Hawkeye's damn good at throwing pointy sticks at aliens.

But the pointy sticks could explode, or grapple, or electrocute people, or make ant-man go zoom zoom.
