Aborted question

I think that's the joke.

"Are you a citizen of the United States?" Which in and of itself isn't a controversial question if only used to index the number of people living in the U.S.. The controversial thing about it is that the current administration will likely use that census data to further I.C.E operations. This would mean that a large number of people who answer no could potentially be deported. Now the otherside of that is that many of these people who aren't here legally wont fill out the census therefore the number of peoples living within states/regions wont be accurately portrayed.

Which will be kind of a disaster when representation is recalculated, as it's meant to reflect voting populations for the next ten years based off the census.

Either way it is going to be beneficial. Because it will weed out people who have no legal right to vote, no matter in what way.

This in particular is more about the double standard of the media rarely ever criticizing Obama because they liked him, but railing against Trump on every issue, even on the ones he's right about.

What? While I’ll even admit that Trump has made good points before, your comment doesn’t make sense in the context of the post or the article. Obama has nothing to do with the whole situation, as stated by a previous commentator. It’s like blaming Obama for the Great Recession, when Clinton & Bush put it in to place. What I’m talking about is complaining about republican orientated news media blaming ex-president Obama, emphasis on ex, for everything even though he’s not in office anymore and doesn’t have any power in this situation while acting like Trump’s a saint. And before we go any further, I’ll admit every president Democrat, Republican, White, Black Or Orange has had their own faults and screw ups in office, we’re all human at the end of the day, and I hate CNN. But, a double standard has two sides and this one ticks me off.
