That's nice. I'll just say it again. Seeing as Germany (I'll just take it as an european example, cause I live here) has an annual average of 8.17°C while Texas has an average of 20,7°C and us having the hottest days in Germany EVER since the beginning of records, it's quite understandable people are making posts about this. We're not whining. We're just not used to it. This has simply never happened before and is usually not expected in a climate like ours.
And even if you are whining. Texans would be whining too if their cold temperatures hit the same as the northern areas winter temperatures. To each their own. No need to compare.
I'm not here to flex. I just got used to the heat that I dont feel it as hard as others. But i also fre in cold temps so i cam adjust to almost any weather. I was baffled when i went on a trip and saw Mexicans with long sleeves and my mother told me I do it too
Yeah... this post is mostly a joke and not meant to be taken seriously or personally. @mialinay anytime anything about the heat wave in Europe is mentioned you seem to take it as an insult... posts like this are all in good fun.
@ilikemoderation Yeah there are some folks who dont like the cold, Texas is more about extremes so it flips between hot and cold... dont really have any other seasons besides summer and winter, not really. The winters in Texas are definitely shorter, but average between 10 degrees (f) to 35 degrees (f). Nothing compared to further north like Minnesota or Colorado, that's for sure.
