A lot? Do you even know any blind people? There's a thing called screen readers, and image descriptions... Plus, it's not necessarily fully blind people. The app also helps those who are otherwise visually impaired.
Yeah I was thinking visually impaired.
And I'm not saying 0 blind people would have phones. I have looked through the accessibility part of my settings.
I'm just simply wondering how many blind people would have smartphones.
Also screen readers aren't going to tell you where the button is.

Usually if someone is blind they are taught where buttons are on devices even if there is no physical button they can learn the location just as many people can press their phones buttons without looking it just takes time
Yeah I’m all for that muscle memory I have it too but autocorrect can’t cover all my mistakes

Most phones can be set up to vibrate if a button is pressed so if they don't manage to press it they will know and most smartphones have a decent gap between the navigation buttons so it's highly unlikely they will hit a different button accidentally
Yeah I can see you're not really getting my point.
In the beginning, I was just simply asking how many blind people have smartphones. There are special braille keyboards and all that for PCs, but phones are just really inconvenient

Voice to text and text to speech for text and there are specialist apps for everything else
Who are you to say what's inconvenient? Do you know what's inconvenient? Tapping everything around you with a long stick. Depending on an animal who won't even live that long for basic needs. The never-ending need to be constantly aware of your surroundings based only on sound. Practically shoving your fingers anywhere they can reach to get a detailed physical sense of something. Having to learn what patterns millions of bumps make to understand something or having to wait for some kind soul to read it to you. Needing to memorize every little thing in your life so remotes and phones are nothing more than muscle-memory. Yet these are the tools of a blind person and you would be hard pressed to find one so ungrateful for what they can still do, that they would call it an inconvenience. You do not speak for them, and clearly you do not understand them either. Shut the fuck up.
