They just don't eat beef, because cows are a sacred animal.

Our religion (Hinduism) does not restrict the consumption of all meat, just some types. Even in our mythology gods have been known to hunt for prey for food.

What was the top supposed to prove? Everybody knows the animal died so I could eat a delicious meal, does knowing exactly when really change anything?

This happens in Latin America too. There are nonverbal supermarkets/ butcher shops where animals are already dead of course but some towns might have just the local butcher where chickens are just roaming a backyard. I used to go with my dad to one. I was little and would play with them and my dad would come back with "lunch".... I'm a vegetarian now because now I get what happens and I feel bad lol, but for people that eat meat I think that's the best way to go! Animals are not tortured, no hormones, can't get more organic than that. Probably even in United States some town might have them.

I feel like that was a vegan. Hey vegans would you be comfortable eating vegetables if the date they were taken from their leafy families to be eaten was on the package?
