That's kinda what I was getting at. The stones can't actually be "destroyed" they're just scattered again.

I guess given the Law of Conservation of Mass nothing is truly destroyed only scattered. That’s kind of uplifting.

it depends on the continuity you are looking at. Deadpool cannot die because of the power of the infinity stones combined under the control of thanos as thanos made it so that deadpool count never reach death, the woman that thanos fancied. The power of the soul stone by itself would not be strong enough to reverse something done using all of the stones combined.
