Since there's no way in hell I'm going to watch this, what happens?

It's more about the guy's commentary than the video itself. Can just listen if you prefer.

Basically he made the journey down to wherever this is and a diamondback Water-Snake he knows not only recognizes him, but comes up out of the water and takes a fish out of his hand. It doesn't strike or anything. Just bites it and tries to pull it away and then it immediately goes back into the water, but he's just so happy/excited it remembered him and came up to him (and didn't go up his britches).

He's 79 and a sweetheart from the sounds of it

That actually was really great. Problem is I can't even see a snake on a screen without feeling one on my legs

As long as your britches are taped you'll be fine!

I shall post a potato cat to help balance it out

I will say it was cool that snake clearly was friendly with him

Tbh I'm curious what their past encounters were actually like for her to develop this level of recognition and trust

It clearly expected some fish, it's just crazy how nice it was though

There's actually a video out there of a cobra that came into a town on a very hot day and allowed someone to give it a drink from a water bottle. Tbh most snakes only get "aggressive" out of fear. I was surprised it didn't strike, though, but I don't know much about this species

Yeah, it was a King Cobra. King Cobra's are freaking awesome! Highly intelligent, to the point they employ specific strategies depending on the what kind of prey they are currently hunting, like killer whale tactics, and might even be able to remember faces.
