I don't know a lot about health science, but I'm pretty confident that you can't not eat for a year with no adverse effects lol

ScienceAlert says this is true. The guy was called Angus Barbieri, and he didn't eat anything for 382 days. Only some vitamins, water, coffee and tea. There's a case report by his doctors, who regularly checked his blood sugar levels which proved that he in fact didn't eat anything at all during that time. I mean if you see it logically - fat is stored by the body for times of emergency.

It was rather dangerous, though. When you run out of fat, your body starts eating though your muscle tissue to stay alive.

As far as pooping goes, that's because most of lost body weight is actually exhaled. Seriously, go look it up, it doesn't get pooped out
