Usually sharks, like babies, explore the world with that mouths. Often timed they bite to play- it’s theorized that many human attacks by sharks aren’t attacks or even the shark mistaking the human for prey, but simply a curious and playful shark trying to say hi.

This is right on the mark. Sharks are also insanely important to the health of the ocean ecosystem as a whole... but that doesnt get you the same sort of ratings during shark week as, "WORST SHARK ATTACKS EVER!!!". Its really depressing because people are exterminating sharks in a multitude of different countries because they get a bad reputation from hollywood/media.

Yeah. It’s sad because they are intelligent, playful, curious, and often hilariously adorable creatures with an important role- who most often aren’t dangerous to humans. People just don’t like the idea something COULD hurt them or overpower them even if it has no intention to use that against them.

If sharks could write novels I'm betting the results would be eerily close to Dracula.
