When my daughter was around 3 yrs old we got a xbox. First game we play has a picture of the company that made the game. Bad dog. It didn't say anything out load and we didn't ever say it. My daughter just looks right at the screen and says Bad Dog.
Shocked the shit out of us. At that time we didn't even have cable all she ever would watch was Bob the builder. So we have no idea how she learned to read lol
Before we got married, one of my wife's students told her she needed to take 60 baths before the wedding so "your husband won't recognize you". Kids can be savage...
My first niece was born when I was 10 and she was shocked I still went to school when she was 4, but then assimilated really quick that we were close in age, so when she was 5 she refused talking to me for 2 days because she had found a pack of cigarettes on my desk and "we can't smoke, we're not adults". She calmed down when I offered her one of my... chocolate cigarettes (yes I'm childish af sometimes). Over the years, she's also been disappointed when I couldn't explain her precisely how computers worked but then promptly forgot it and one time when she was in class her teacher said "well, I don't know. No one knows everything, so I'm going to research it later..." and she stood up and said "My aunt knows everything!".
She's really cute and interested in everything people have to offer, I hope she stays like this.
