This is so fucking true. Every time I see the meme of the sad otter holding the little guitar I think of so many times I hid my excitement because I knew someone would just be an asshole

I was so excited yesterday about Ben Stokes and his batting in the world cup final and then the 135* yesterday in the Ashes.
And my dad's words were "You know those things are rigged right, they just do it for money".
And my heart just sank.

Because of people like that people apologize for getting too hyped and I just think that’s the saddest thing.

Not everything should be excitement generating, and some people are obnoxious about it.
