Don’t worry y’all. This ones come up before so I’ll do the short version. This is a staged photo. It was done by an artist and while the deer did die at some point- it was not suspended by its neck during a wild fire.

Well... I... ummm.... I wish to retract that statement. In full disclosure I am NOT a veterinarian and did not personally asses the animal- so it may still be alive and happy. I apologize for speaking beyond the scope of my authority.

Sorry for delay. This is the part where it’s been a long time since I did the research so I’m getting mixed up. I have a much older post on this meme when posted before that has more details- but if I recall correctly I believe this was the one that was just set up for the sake of the aesthetic. Basically just to get this shot because it’s provocative of mind and emotion. I may be mistaken though- tbh I’m too lazy to dig for my older post and I do recall the research was a pain and don’t want to do it twice. Lol.
