They were next to a car that was on fire. The sun only softens cars in Arizona does not melt them very often.

Parts of cars are known to melt in the AZ sun. Steering wheels and dashboards. Tires can also explode, but that's due to the heat causing the gas inside the tire to expand, increasing PSI.

WELL, everybody says it is "dry heat" in Arizona so it really isn't as hot as the temperature is. WELL, it is "dry heat" in my oven too.

Look up "melted ice cream truck" to see what happens in Arizona. Happened right outside of Scottsdale. I was there that day. Honest.
