Aren't they constantly losing subscribers because they keep making bot accounts that subscribe to them and forcing residents of India to auto-subscribe?
Apparently T-series reached it first however Pewds is the first individual creator to reach it. Personally, I think as an individual creator with only himself and a few editors to rely on his goal is a lot more impressive, nothing against T-series though.
T-Series owns almost all of Bollywood classic music, back in the day they were a recording company, used to launch people by albums, used to have a boing Tape recorder business...
