We are about 20-25 years away from being able to artificially create organs and limbs... this is a great step in the right direction.

Did they just have arms readily available or did someone else leave without any

Edit: They had a donor anonymously send it, and he lost his arms in 2010, receiving the transplant successfully in 2016.
