Reading the last few books were devastating for me because each of these characters were all one of my favorites and all of them died except for Luna, George and the trio.
I love harry potter, I grew up on it, but I've tried on multiple occasions to start reading the sorcerer's stone, but I just couldn't get into it. I've been told I could just easily skip the first book but my ocd won't let me.
In Harry Potter you could see many of them coming, though they were still hard to take. But Ned Stark? He was introduced as a lead, if Ron had been killed by Voldermort at the end of the Sorcerer Stone, then yeah. And the Red Wedding?
the two book cant even compare with each other. an epic fantasy series vs. a modern fantasy series? one with an 18-49 year demographic and the other a 13-25. one about a plethora of plot arcs such as social hierarchy, religion, civil war, crime, and punishment, and the other, a single plot arc dealing with coming of age and to have revenge on a noseless guy.
harry potter is a great character with a great series, but i think game of thrones is by far a greater, more developed series
that, or these people havent actually watched game of throne or at least read the books.
Agree. Besides there is a picture that has the deaths of the Harry Potter series marked mad also of a song of ice and fire and there are much more deaths in George's series. Just saying
I found Sirius' death the saddest because Sirius was the closest friend of Harry's father (Lupin was also close). And he was really the only one of the adults that treated Harry as an equal, believing he was strong enough to defeat Voldemort.
If no one had died it would have been a terrible series. Dying makes the story people. Don't go on and on about how many characters have been killed. If Harry's parents hadn't died there would be no story. If you ask me, having an author who isn't afraid to kill a character makes the story that much more interesting and keeps me yearning for more.
Not a problem, and thank you. Nice to know people still remember them, Crash Bandicoot was the first full 3D graphic game, can't believe hardly anyone's heard of it anymore.... And the ones I've met in real life who have, they played the ones that came out in 2008-09, and frankly I don't think those two accomplished much more than make fun of the original games
Crash bandicoot warped is the best, for sure. Crash Team Racing was pretty good too, but extremely frustrating. I too grew up off of Crash and Spyro, and I always thought it was funny how the games would have cameos of each other in the games
That was the greatest moment in my life lol. I spent hours on crash and Spyro. The new spyro series that came out for ps2 was pretty good actually I enjoyed them
Oh hell yes. I am yet to find a series I enjoyed more than The original Crash and Spyro. I'll admit, I did enjoy the Legend of Spyro, up until Dawn of the Dragon, the story line just seemed really.... Fanfictiony.... But never the less it was fun.... But I really don't like Skylanders, I mean, the games not even about Spyro anymore, he's just there so they could convince old fans to buy the game, though I still don't hate Skylanders nearly as much as I hate Crash of the Titans and Mind over Mutant
I completely agree. It was way too easy, and don't get me started on all the back tracking. Also, they decided to drastically redesign Crunch between Crash of the Titans and Mind over mutant! not that I liked his design from CoT, but still, I don't think you can just do that in the direct sequel of a game. The only thing I give Mind over mutant credit for was NBrio was some what entertaining, somewhat, actually he seemed more self aware of how bad the game he was in was. Oh and don't get me started on the pop culture references.... Also known as proof that the game has given up on it's self....
I can't forgive her for all the deaths that happened off page like Lupin. Harry was like hey sup guys and Hermione was like hey you know the last link you had to your parents? Yea? He dead
harry potter is a great character with a great series, but i think game of thrones is by far a greater, more developed series
that, or these people havent actually watched game of throne or at least read the books.
