Are those 6 nose holes?

@Nelson those are heat pits. Snakes use them to pick up on heat signatures of things around them. Very integral in their nocturnal hunting. They're also decently sensitive - part of why "booping" a snake should only be done with great care. Unless it's a pit viper. Then it shouldn't be done at all. They do HAVE nostrils iirc, but they don't really USE them all that much
