While that might be a true comparison of their salary, Jorden, Tiger Woods and other current athletes, would get a huge portion of their wealth from sponsorship deals which are not included in this comparison...

Nah, that's all in those numbers. Jordan only earned around $90 mil from his player contracts, $33 million of it coming in a single year.
