A good portion of why thats impressive compared to this one is that a lot of it's size comes from the "house on stilts" style of building its had done as well as its "sprawl" size. This here's main claim to fame is its individual building size. The big building you see in this image is massive, the equivalent of an 11 story building.
Also technically the statement "built without a single nail 300 years ago" is incorrect. There is nothing structural built with nails, the cosmetic domes have nails as do the shingles.
Stave churches in Norway are also built without nails. They were built usually between the 11th and 13th centuries. Several survive today, and they can be quite impressive structures.
