Huge sci fi fan. These ones are my favorites ones, any recommendations?

Dune is great. For the recomendation id say leviathan wakes book 1 of the expanse by james a corey. Big multi-book sci fi series.

I absolutely love the Empire Rising series by DJ Holmes and the Black Fleet Saga by Joshua Dalzelle, they start with The Void War and Warship, respectively.
