i mean, she's at best of equal fame. She had a single album that sold good and then went continuously downhill hella, all but one of her other albums sold like 1/15th of the big one.

Yeah. I have no idea who this other person is- but I know Gaga still sells out shows performing those same songs year after year after year. If Audrey Hepburn or JFK were still alive they likely wouldn’t be trending or everywhere you looked, many younger folks probably wouldn’t know, or knowing - really get too excited about them. So we could say they aren’t as “famous” as Pewdie Pie or Arianna Grande or whoever the kids like now- but theirs is a different type of fame. Legend. The new kids on the block and One Directions might always have some fans- but they generally never achieve the immortal relevance and reverence. Gaga is more than famous. She’s an Icon. Someday perhaps a legend.
