I love how killing some birds is fine and considered a sport by some, but killing some others may send you to jail. It's a life in both cases, the birds won't care because they're both dead, the only ones who care are us humans who randomly decided we had to start collecting species like pokemon but can still kill individuals when we have enough of them. We're weird sometimes.

Although I agree I feel bad for killing of any animal, difference in this cade would be that it's a protected species. Which would not be in danger of being extinct in the first place ifbitb weren't for humans....but yeah
